A new and local client required to line a containment bund for a liquid fertiliser tank, as well as line a BioBed.

The tank bund was formed from a breeze block wall, using a protective geotextile and 1mm HDPE, our installation team installed the bund liner and secured the liner to the breeze block bund by means of termination bar.

The bund liner will protect the site from the risk of pollution incase of  failure or spills from the fertiliser storage tank, ensuring the site and environment are protected.

We also lined a BioBed which will be used for filtering out contaminates from sprayer cleaning. A pre-welded panel of both protective geotextiled liner were fabricated in our workshop to job specific dimensions, meaning the only onsite welding within the BioBed was one pipe penetration. Again this liner will protect the ground from underneath from potential contamination.
