Flex MSE – Beach Walkway Reinstatement

Angus Council employed us, working in conjunction with Delson Contracts Ltd, to reinstate an eroded walkway on Montrose beach.

Our Flex MSE vegetated wall system proved to be the perfect solution due to its ease of installation, cost advantage and the fact that the wall could be vegetated with site specific vegetation, meaning the wall will become carbon negative once vegetation has established.

The walkway board was removed, the remaining materials excavated and then the Flex MSE build was completed within a matter of hours, which allowed for the walk board to be replaced and the walkway reopened to the public.
