8500m2 Temporary Landfill Cap

We recently completed an 8500m2 temporary landfill cap for a repeat client in the Highlands of Scotland.

Having completed a number of previous temporary capping contracts for the client on a different site, this was our first job on this particular site location, however the brief remained the same, which was to reduce their surface water infiltration and reduce leachate levels.

The contract included the connection of the temporary capping liner to two surface water outlet pipes.

Our Power Scrim 400 and Net Down ballast system were used along with supplementary ballast bags to form the temporary capping system. Both materials were supplied in job specific sized pre-welded panels and the onsite installation was completed within 5 working days, which included travel!
